1. Company Organising the Contest
The organiser of this contest is the Fundación Canaria Gran Canaria Convention Bureau under its brand name Gran Canaria Golf, with registered office at Domingo J. Navarro Street, no. 1, 4th floor, office 5, 35002 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, and holder of Tax ID code G3564926, (hereinafter Gran Canaria Golf) with the aim of rewarding its subscriber database.
2. Purpose of the Contest
The purpose of this contest is to reward subscribers and their loyalty with a night at the Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity and three green fees to enjoy three different experiences playing three courses combining The New Course and Old Course.
3. Geographical Scope and Participants
This promotion is limited to Great Britain, Germany, Nordic countries and Spain (excluding the Canary Islands). All persons from these countries are eligible to participate, including those residing in the Balearic Archipelago. The winner must use the prize on the island where the Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity is located, i.e. Gran Canaria.
4. Temporal Scope
The promotion starts on 01/12/2022 and ends on 22/12/2022, at 23:59 Canarian time.
5. Participants
All persons over 18 years of age, resident in Spain (mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, excluding residents of the Canary Islands) and residents of Great Britain, Germany and the Nordic countries, who between 01/12/2022 and 22/12/2022 have subscribed to the Gran Canaria Golf marketing communications (newsletter), can participate in the draw free of charge and voluntarily.
6. Prizes
The prize is one night at the Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity and three green fees to enjoy three different experiences playing three loops combining The New Course and Old Course.
The organiser will contact the winner by email, requesting their details for the reservation of the hotel night and the green fees.
The costs of the prize will be borne by the contest organiser. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other prizes and it is personal and non-transferable.
What’s more, the reservation is subject to availability of dates at the time the winner wishes to redeem the prize.
The prize can be redeemed until 30 October 2023. Furthermore, if the stay exceeds one night, the difference will be payable by the winner as well as any extras and buggy.
7. Promotional Mechanics and Prize Awarding
From the first day of the promotion until the last day, both days included, users who wish to participate must subscribe to the marketing communications (newsletter) through the form provided for this purpose on the website (www.grancanariagolf.com) or through any of the brand’s applications that make this possible.
Users of the brand who have subscribed to the newsletter between 01/12/2022 and 22/12/2022, and have filled in the required fields correctly, will be directly entered into the prize draw.
After this deadline, Gran Canaria Golf will carry out a draw among all users who are new subscribers in the date interval described above (excluding those who have unsubscribed from marketing communications during this time or those who have filled in the form incorrectly).
Through an online sweepstake generator, ensuring total impartiality in the result, Gran Canaria Golf will choose one winner at random among all participants (brand newsletter subscriber database collected between 01 December 2022 and 22 December 2022) and two alternates.
8. Contacting the Winner
The winner will be contacted within 5 working days of the end of this promotion via the email address used to subscribe to the newsletter, which will be part of the brand’s database.
The winner will have five working days from the sending of the email to confirm receipt of the notification that they have been selected as winner and, therefore, claim their prize.
Once the response from the winner has been received, Gran Canaria Golf will proceed to manage the conditions and details of the green fee reservation.
Gran Canaria Golf accepts no responsibility for the notification not being received correctly in the inbox or in the expected reception conditions. It will be the winner’s responsibility to guarantee and/or verify that the communications from Gran Canaria Golf are not sent by their email provider to the spam or junk mailbox.
In the event that the winner does not reply within the five days following the communication, Gran Canaria Golf reserves the right to appoint a new winner from a previously selected substitute, following the procedure described in this article. In the event that the new winner does not reply within five days, Gran Canaria Golf may declare the prize void.
9. Acceptance of the Terms
The mere participation in the contest implies the acceptance of the entire content of these terms. The non-acceptance of these terms supposes non-participation in the contest, and as a consequence of this, Gran Canaria Golf will be released from the fulfilment of the obligation contracted with said participant.
By accepting the prize, the winner assumes all the expenses incurred, except those expressly included in the promotion in question, as well as the responsibility that may arise from the winner’s travelling and the use of the prize. In turn, the winner accepts that the data will be shared with Grupo Satocan Turístico SL, holder of Tax ID code B76153014, with the following address: Alcalde Díaz Saavedra Navarro Street s/n (no no.), Edificio Archipiélago 35001 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
In this respect, the winner will be responsible for all taxes or expenses that are not specifically mentioned in these terms. Transfer costs, green fee buggy and other extras are not included.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
Gran Canaria Golf reserves the right to use the name of the lucky winner, as well as the names of all participants, for advertising purposes in any media it deems appropriate and without the need for explicit notification.
11. Applicable Law and Competent Courts
The law applicable to this promotional contest is Spanish law, and the competent courts to hear any dispute or controversy are the Courts of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
